(Eschscholzia California) Our California Poppies vary from bright orange to golden, with majority being orange. They are vibrantly beautiful, self-seed readily, and are drought and deer tolerant. They attract bees, and are particularly useful for native bees, including Leaf Cutter Bees, who will cut the petals to use in their nests. The whole plant can be used medicinally for anxiety and sleep difficulties. Always make sure you know what you are doing before eating or using plants medicinally.
